The eMedicus Institutional Review Board is dedicated to protecting the rights and welfare of human subjects participating in research.
 We are challenged by our sense of responsibility to enhance the quality of human life by increasing knowledge through research.
To ensure that the risks of scientific advancement never outweigh the value
of human life, we promote the ethical conduct of research in conformance with
the Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 CFR 56 and Title 45 CFR 46.
When conducting clinical research an investigator's actions should be guided by three fundamental ethical principles for human research identified in the Belmont Report: respect for persons, beneficence and justice.
